Visnoa Systems builds minimum viable products (MVPs) for startups and businesses in 3–5 weeks, starting from $12,000. An MVP includes the core user journeys, a database and backend, user sign-in, one or two integrations, testing of the main flows and deployment, so you can put a real product in front of real users and learn whether they will use and pay for it.

What is an MVP, really?

A minimum viable product is the smallest version of your product that real users can use to get real value. It is not a demo and not a cut-down version of everything you eventually want. It is a deliberately narrow product that does one job well enough for you to measure whether people want it.

The hardest part of MVP development is not the code — it is deciding what to leave out. That is why every Visnoa MVP starts with scoping, and why we are comfortable telling you when a feature should wait.

What is included in MVP Development

  • Defined core user journeys — usually two to four, such as sign up, create, share and pay;
  • database and backend for the agreed features, using a mainstream, maintainable stack;
  • authentication and basic user management, including password reset;
  • one or two standard integrations, such as payments, email or a CRM;
  • an admin view so you can see and manage users and data;
  • testing of core flows, permissions and error handling;
  • deployment to hosting in your name, with environments and backups configured;
  • documentation and handover of the repository and accounts.

Who MVP development is for

  • Founders who have validated interest — through a prototype, waitlist or customer conversations — and now need a real product;
  • businesses launching a new digital service alongside an existing offline business;
  • teams that need a pilot product for a specific customer or partner.

Our MVP development process

  1. Scope (days 1–3). User journeys, feature priorities, exclusions, data model, integrations and acceptance criteria — agreed in writing.
  2. Design (days 3–5). Key screens and flows confirmed before backend work begins.
  3. Build (weeks 1–3). Short cycles with a preview link and twice-weekly updates.
  4. Test and launch (final week). End-to-end testing, fixes, deployment, demo and revision round.
  5. Handover. Repository, documentation, recorded walkthrough and a defined bug-fix period.

MVP pricing and timeline

Build typeTypical timelineStarting from
Proof of Concept: one core feature or technical question3–5 working days$1,500
MVP: core journeys, login, database, one or two integrations3–5 weeks$12,000
Beta Product Build: multiple roles, workflows and integrations6–10 weeks$24,000

Third-party costs (hosting, APIs, AI model usage) and GST are extra. Read our guide: how much does it cost to build an MVP?

Is an MVP production-ready?

An MVP is built to be used by real early users, within the agreed scope. It is not automatically ready for large scale, sensitive data or regulated industries. If you expect rapid growth or handle payments and personal data at volume, plan for our hardening and launch service or an ongoing development retainer.

What you receive

  • A deployed, working MVP on accounts you own;
  • the full source code in your repository;
  • technical documentation and a recorded walkthrough;
  • a bug-fix period for issues within the agreed scope;
  • a prioritised list of what to build next, based on what we learned.

MVP development FAQs

How long does it take to build an MVP?

Most focused MVPs take 3–5 weeks with Visnoa. Products with several user roles or complex integrations are usually a Beta Product Build of 6–10 weeks. Read how long MVP development takes for the full breakdown.

Do you build mobile apps or web apps?

Most MVPs are best built as responsive web apps, which work on phones and computers and avoid app store delays. If your product truly needs a native mobile app, we will discuss the options and timeline during scoping.

Can you build my MVP from an existing prototype?

Yes — whether we built the prototype or someone else did. We will review it first and tell you what can be kept and what should be rebuilt.

What happens after the MVP launches?

You can take the code to any developer, choose a maintenance plan, or work with us on a monthly retainer to keep improving the product based on user feedback.

Who owns the MVP?

You do. After final payment, all code, accounts and documentation are yours.

Have an idea worth testing?
