Rapid prototyping at Visnoa Systems means building a working version of your software idea — real screens, real navigation and the core logic that makes it useful — in about a week. You get a link you can demo to investors, customers or colleagues, and clear evidence of what to build next.
What is a rapid software prototype?
A rapid prototype is a functional model of a product, built quickly to answer a question: does this idea make sense to the people it is for? Unlike static mock-ups, a working prototype responds to clicks and input, shows realistic data, and lets people complete the main task the product exists for.
It is deliberately not the finished product. We simplify everything that does not affect the question you are trying to answer — for example using sample data instead of a live integration, or a single user role instead of a full permissions system.
What we build in Prototype Development
- Scoping and feature priorities. We agree the one or two journeys that matter most and write them down.
- Responsive screens. The key screens, designed to look credible on desktop and mobile.
- Working core logic. Forms that validate, lists that filter, calculations that calculate — whatever makes the idea tangible.
- Realistic sample data. So demos feel real without connecting to production systems.
- A shareable demo link. Hosted so you can show it from any device.
- One revision round after the first demo, and a recorded walkthrough.
Who rapid prototyping is for
- Founders preparing for investor or accelerator meetings.
- Product managers who need to align stakeholders before committing a development team.
- Businesses testing whether an internal tool idea will actually be adopted.
- Agencies that need a convincing demo to win a client pitch.
How Prototype Development works
- Day 1 — Scope. A 45–60 minute call, followed by a one-page written scope and fixed price.
- Days 2–3 — Screens. We share the main screens and flow for quick feedback.
- Days 3–6 — Build. AI-assisted development with engineering review, and a preview link as soon as something works.
- Day 6–7 — Demo and handover. Live walkthrough, revision round, recorded video, source code.
Timeline and pricing
Prototype Development starts from $2,500 and most prototypes take 5–7 working days. Your fixed quote depends on the number of screens and the amount of working logic. If you only need to prove one core feature or technical question, a Proof of Concept starts from $1,500. See full pricing.
What a prototype is not
A prototype is built to learn and to demonstrate. It is not hardened for real customer data, payments or large numbers of users. If your prototype tests well, we can extend it into an MVP or rebuild the parts that need to be production-grade — and we will tell you honestly which is the better option.
What you receive
- A hosted, working prototype and its source code;
- a short note listing what is real and what is simulated;
- a recorded walkthrough video;
- a recommended next step, with an estimate for an MVP if relevant.
Rapid prototyping FAQs
What is the difference between a rapid prototype and a clickable prototype?
A clickable prototype simulates the experience with linked screens and no real logic. A rapid prototype contains working logic — forms, calculations, data handling — so people can actually use it. Clickable prototypes are faster and cheaper; working prototypes are more convincing and teach you more.
Can my prototype be turned into the real product?
Often, yes. Because we use mainstream technology, much of a working prototype can be extended into an MVP. Some parts — usually authentication, data storage and integrations — are rebuilt properly at the MVP stage.
Do I need designs before we start?
No. Sketches, screenshots of products you like, or a written description are enough. If you have Figma designs, we will build from them.
Can investors use the prototype themselves?
Yes. You get a hosted link that works on desktop and mobile, so you can share it after a meeting.
